Head of Software Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Software Development to lead our team of talented software developers and shape the future of our IT department.
As a key member of our IT leadership team, you will be responsible for managing, mentoring, and improving a team of software developers, QA specialists, a scrum master, and an IT recruiter who work on various projects across the IT department.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from analysis to deployment and maintenance.
- Ensure the quality and security of the code and collaborate with other teams and stakeholders towards achieving company goals.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of software developers and QA specialists with different levels of experience and expertise.
- Continuously improve development processes, building and scaling high-performing technology teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during the software development process.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies, trends, and innovations in the software industry and evaluate their potential for us.
- A solid background in software development, with at least five years of experience in a senior or lead role.
- A strong knowledge of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with developing software solutions using.NET, C#, SQL, and Azure.
- Experience with managing software projects using agile, scrum, and DevOps.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
- A lifelong learner with a passion for innovation and improvement.
