At Temenos, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant to join our team. As a Technical Consultant, you will play a key role in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of our proprietary Temenos Data Suite of products.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and configure Temenos Data Suite products on client sites or in the cloud.
- Apply advanced analysis skills and technical experience to drive business streams.
- Collaborate with clients to define additional standard enhancements and provide best practices advice.
- Configure and maintain Temenos data products across various technology stacks.
- Provide expertise to clients on setting up production environments and running TEMENOS products, including database administration.
- Assist the Project Manager in planning and coordination.
- Conduct all aspects of TEMENOS product implementation, driving business streams.
- Coordinate with TEMENOS maintenance groups to resolve client product issues.
- Lead the identification, definition, and coordination of implementation activities, such as additional requirements, issues with functionality under testing, training needs, and liaison with the Project Manager.
- Experience working with version control repositories like GIT, TFS, or BitBucket.
- Experience working with container engines such as Docker or Podman, including working with images, building, tagging, committing to registries like Maven or ACR.
- Experience working with Kubernetes on-prem or in the cloud, including working with HELM, YAML configuration of Namespaces, Services, Ingress, Volumes, Config maps.
- Knowledge of streaming services like Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hubs.
- Comfortable with Linux CLI, SSH, User and Permission Management, Networking and Security Concepts, including configuration of SSL certificates.
- Experience with relational databases like Oracle, MSSQL Server, Postgresql on-prem or in the cloud.
- Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, database migrations, and technology management.
- Technical aptitude and experience to learn new technologies and understand relevant cloud/on-prem trends.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Independent problem solver.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel within Europe as required.
- Prior experience with Temenos Transact or data products.
- Automation and CI/CD experience with tools like Jenkins or Maven.
- Monitoring with tools like Prometheus.
- Configuring a service mesh with tools like Istio.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code.
- Knowledge of configuring Web Apps on JBoss, IIS, or Apache Tomcat.
- Care about the implementation of Temenos Data Lake projects.
- Commit to configure, deploy, and maintain Temenos data products.
- Collaborate with the wider Temenos Delivery department and clients.
- Challenge the production environment to always improve.
