Location: Harderwijk, Netherlands

About the Role:

As the Head of Innovation Strategy, you will lead a dynamic team of Development Engineers dedicated to advancing our R&D initiatives. You will be responsible for crafting and overseeing the development roadmap in collaboration with business unit leaders and R&D partners. Your team will focus on creating products that deliver strategic value to AWL-Techniek.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Guide a multidisciplinary team in the development of innovative solutions, including machine concepts and software applications.
  • Implement advanced software technologies to enhance customer projects through robotics, vision systems, and AI integrations.
  • Utilize agile methodologies (Scrum) to facilitate iterative development, including sprint planning and team retrospectives.
  • Act as the Product Owner, ensuring alignment between team efforts and organizational goals.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A strong passion for software development and innovation.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in (Technical) Computer Science.
  • Over 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience working within a Scrum framework.
  • Solid understanding of programming principles (OOP, FP, etc.).
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English.
