Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Controller Specialist to join our team in Den Haag. This role will play a critical part in driving financial performance and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Financial Accounting: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to different departments and management.
  • Financial Compliance: Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of statutory annual reports, providing documentation, and addressing audit findings.
  • Payroll Accounting: Analyze payroll accounts and cooperate with the global shared service center to ensure financial data compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with statutory accounting standards, regulations, and best practices. Seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher AND 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English. French is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
What We Offer

Solventum offers a competitive salary of €75,000 - €90,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a range of benefits, including:
