Associate Project Manager, Cell and Gene Therapies Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Associate Project Manager to join our Cell and Gene Therapies team at Marken. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the set up and operations of cell and gene shipments, including capturing client requirements and coordinating with depot facilities and logistics offices.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the set up and operations of cell and gene shipments, including capturing client requirements and coordinating with depot facilities and logistics offices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, establishing communication plans and driving program completion in a timely manner.
  • Lead client review calls and present at strategic client meetings, ensuring operational efficiencies and effective communication.
  • Oversee shipments in Maestro against client specifications and pre-defined lane mapping, ensuring Branches and Local Service Providers follow collection and delivery instructions.
  • Develop client transportation specifications and help set up paperwork or checklists associated with cell and gene shipments.
  • Work with trade compliance teams to ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and retained according to Marken Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Provide support and assistance when dealing with special requirements and inform internal teams where required.
  • Manage own priorities, maintain metrics, and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
  • Identify project barriers and work with the Director CGT Project Management to resolve accordingly.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years project management experience.
  • Knowledge in Pharma, Medicine, or Logistics.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience in dealing with people and speaking to clients.
  • Experience in the courier or freight industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks.
  • Must have an eye for detail and the ability to think on their feet.
  • Organized and skilled in tracking with the ability to multi-task and problem solve.
  • PC and Microsoft products experience a must.
