About the Role

We are seeking an experienced API Developer to join our DnA API development team at Schiphol Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining APIs that facilitate automated data exchange between Schiphol's information systems and its ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing REST APIs and Streaming APIs to support our business operations.
  • Reviewing code, participating in pair programming, and sharing knowledge with the team.
  • Supporting our internal clients and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless API integration.
  • Contributing to our drive to continuously improve and innovate our API solutions.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining APIs.
  • Expertise in Java programming and a strong understanding of Java 8 and later versions.
  • A relevant bachelor's and master's degree in a related field.
  • Good knowledge of our technology stack, including Reactor, Confluent Kafka, Elasticsearch, OpenShift/Docker, and Micronaut.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of € 4401 to € 6128 gross per month (Schaal 11).
  • A 13th month (year-end bonus).
  • The possibility to work a 4 x 9 hours in a 36-hour work week.
  • An NS Business Card that fully reimburses travel by public transportation to and from work.
