Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Data Privacy Compliance Specialist to join our Privacy team in Amsterdam. The team works closely with commercial, compliance, and product teams, while collaborating and negotiating with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable data privacy laws and regulations worldwide.

Your Responsibilities

  • Strengthen Adyen's data privacy compliance framework in collaboration with the team.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including commercial, product, marketing, data, and regulatory teams, to effectively manage privacy matters.
  • Review and negotiate data processing agreements with customers and suppliers.
  • Anticipate data protection obligations and risks, ensuring they are addressed accordingly. Stay up-to-date on new legislative proposals and other legal developments regarding privacy.

Your Profile

  • You have 4+ years of experience in the privacy field (including GDPR) preferably with experience in privacy compliance and negotiating data processing agreements.
  • A natural-born networker with high energy, a confident self-starter with a proven commercial edge, entrepreneurial mindset, and strong negotiation skills.
  • You are a team player who includes diverse perspectives to sharpen your ideas.
  • Solid interpersonal skills, enabling you to liaise and connect with various internal and external stakeholders and customers from different disciplines and cultures.
  • The ability to structure and prioritize in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and build processes to completion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

What We Offer

An estimated salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, location, and qualifications. Benefits include professional development opportunities, flexible work arrangements, and a dynamic work environment.
