Financial Business Partner

Thales is seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Partner to join our team in Hengelo, Netherlands. As a key member of our finance department, you will serve as the primary financial advisor and partner for the operations within your designated scope.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic financial guidance to support decision-making within your area of responsibility.
- Identify and communicate risks and opportunities related to projects and initiatives within your scope.
- Drive finance-related improvements, collaborating cross-functionally to enhance processes and systems.
- Communicate financial challenges, insights, and recommendations clearly and effectively to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure that financial processes are regularly reviewed, updated, and adapted to meet the evolving needs of a dynamic organization.
- Prepare reports, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis and reporting to senior management of all costs and financial data for the projects you work on.
- Monitor and challenge project expenditures and deliveries on assigned programs/products.
- Evaluate, monitor, and implement policies, practices, and functional performance standards.
- Support annual budgets, business plans, and forecasts preparation.
- Support the preparation and presentation of our bids as a key member of the bid team.
- Ensure financial integrity and adherence to processes (Chorus 2.0).
- Support internal improvement and change projects.
- Be a team player on various organizational levels.
- Bachelor or Master degree in Finance or strongly related to Finance.
- Relevant work experience is appreciated.
- Affinity with technical processes and a good knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to understand complex processes and demonstrate a strong financial acumen.
- Excellent communication skills (English and Dutch, French would be appreciated).
- Curiosity and ability to grow into a professional role as business partner.
