Senior Financial Analyst Vehicle Industry

The Commercial Finance Manager Vehicle position at Sensata Technologies involves leading a team to create financial forecasts based on research and data findings. Key responsibilities include evaluating industry trends, utilizing historical data, and developing financial forecasting models. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial analysis and be able to effectively communicate with senior management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization's short, medium, and long-term financial and competitive position.
  • Utilize historical data and work with all levels of the business to understand needs to accurately forecast future financial position.
  • Develops, updates, and manages financial forecasting models and regularly and effectively communicates changes, recommendations, and issues to senior management as necessary.
  • Maintains detailed records of forecast outputs and inputs, processes, quantitative or qualitative models, meetings, approvals, or other items, as needed, for compliance or governance.
  • Recruits, trains, develops, coaches, and manages team to ensure priorities and deliverables are met.
Requirements:
  • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members.
  • Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Strong communication skills; oral, written, and presentation.
  • Strong organization, planning, and time management skills to achieve results.
  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers.

Power BI experience is desirable. B2B (vehicle industry and/or industrial manufacturing) experience would be a plus. Strong business acumen. Experience working with ERP and Reporting tools such as Oracle. Previous management experience is required. Cross-cultural and global management experience is highly desirable. Proven success supporting business unit leadership utilizing strong analytical forecasting skills. Support efforts around quarterly Board of Directors Meetings and Company's Earnings Release providing market and revenue performance analytics is expected.
