The Shared Services Accounting, Reporting & Controlling team is accountable for the financial activities of Thales Nederland B.V. As a Tax Compliance Analyst, you will play a vital role in this department, focusing on providing support regarding tax issues primarily for Thales Nederland B.V. and potentially for other Thales entities in the Netherlands.
We are seeking a Tax Compliance Analyst to enhance our dynamic Accounting Team.
About Your Future Role
As an essential member of our team, you will address all tax-related matters within Thales Nederland B.V. and possibly for other Thales entities in the Netherlands. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with tax regulations, tracking tax deadlines, liaising with stakeholders (Dutch Tax Authority, other Ministries, and internal teams), offering insightful financial advice, identifying potential risks and opportunities, and actively engaging in finance-related initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Preparing tax assessments and managing tax payments (e.g., WBSO, income tax, VAT); Coordinating tax audits and overseeing tax rulings; Evaluating, monitoring, and implementing tax policies and performance standards; Assisting with internal and external inquiries regarding tax matters; Conducting internal control activities related to tax; Ensuring financial integrity and compliance with processes (tax compliance); Supporting internal improvement initiatives related to tax; Collaborating effectively across various organizational levels.Why You Would Be a Great Fit
You possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Taxation, along with relevant experience in tax, ideally within an international context. You have a strong affinity for tax and accounting processes, coupled with a solid understanding of Dutch Tax Law and proficiency in MS Office. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about finance and thrives in a collaborative environment. You should be capable of grasping complex processes, with strong organizational, analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills being essential for this position. Your natural curiosity will enable you to evolve into a professional role as a business partner on all tax-related matters within the Thales NL organization. Excellent communication skills in Dutch (native) and English (proficient) are required, while knowledge of French is a plus.
