Job Description

Cloud FinOps Engineer

As a Cloud FinOps Engineer at NN, you will play a crucial role in optimizing cloud costs and improving financial operations. Your responsibilities will include analyzing cloud consumption, creating insights, and providing advice to customers on cost-saving solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check invoices from cloud suppliers and link them to business unit costs
  • Analyze cloud consumption and create dashboards in Cloudability
  • Communicate with customers to make them aware of cloud costs and provide advice on cost-saving solutions
  • Standardize and automate cost savings by writing scripts

Your First Week

During your first week, you will undergo an onboarding process that includes a personal welcome, IT onboarding, and team meetings. You will also have the opportunity to explore the office and meet your colleagues.

Requirements
  • Experience in AWS and/or Azure Cloud
  • Experience with tooling like PowerBI and scripting languages like PowerShell and Python
  • Understanding of cloud cost models and cloud cost management tools like Cloudability
  • FinOps Practitioner Certificate preferred or willingness to obtain within 3 months
  • Strong analytical and solution-oriented capabilities and a strong customer focus
Working with Us

You will work closely with the cloud engineers and teams to deliver a future-proof IT infrastructure within NN. The NN Public Cloud Domain consists of the AWS, Azure, Container, and CI/CD platform teams. We are looking for a third Cloud FinOps Engineer to join our team.
