We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher of Physics to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our thriving science program and work with a multicultural team of educators.
In this role, you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our students. You will deliver engaging Chemistry and Physics lessons, create an inclusive classroom environment, and collaborate with colleagues to support student growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Chemistry and Physics to students aged 11-18 following the European Baccalaureate curriculum.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Physics and Chemistry.
- Full teaching qualification for Secondary Education recognized by the Dutch Education Authorities.
- Teaching qualification for the upper secondary level or grammar school, or willingness to acquire the qualification while working.
- Experience teaching modern physics in higher classes covering topics such as quantum mechanics and astrophysics.
- Able to deliver lessons in German (C1 level or above).
- Good command of English for communication within the school.
