Background InformationASML is a leading company in the development of lithography machines for the production of integrated circuits. Our team is responsible for the development of the EUV Transmissive Image Sensor (TIS), which plays a crucial role in the alignment of the reticle and wafer at sub-nanometer accuracy. We are looking for a student who can contribute to the development of the Pellicle Detection Rupture System (PDRS) functionality.
Your AssignmentThe assignment will focus on the development of an emulation model that allows us to mimic the PDRS measurement methodologies. You will be responsible for creating a model that can accurately simulate the PDRS measurement process. Additionally, you will be required to validate the model using real machine data from our newest machines. If the model is successfully validated, you may be asked to continue the assignment by studying the operation ranges in which PDRS can be supported with TIS.
Your ProfileTo be a great fit for this internship, you should have a strong background in physics or mathematics and be familiar with coding languages such as MATLAB or Python. You should also have experience with object-oriented programming and be able to run simulations, analysis, and data visualization. Additionally, you should have a good understanding of statistics, optics, and data processing. Knowledge of material science and sensor architecture is a plus.
RequirementsThis internship is open to students who are enrolled in a higher education institution and are willing to relocate to the Netherlands. You should be available to work full-time for 40 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months starting in September 2024. You should also have a good understanding of the Dutch language and culture.
