Salary

The estimated monthly salary for this position is €2,650, which includes a trainee allowance of €750 per month, a night-shift allowance of 20%, and a Sunday allowance of 5%. Additionally, you will receive a 38-hour workweek, national and international opportunities for growth, and access to various benefits including a uniform, laundry service, meals, and discounts on rooms, food, and drink at Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, Accor, and HR-Group hotels.

Job Description

As a Reservations & Revenue Trainee, you will be responsible for managing room reservations, optimizing revenue, and ensuring seamless coordination of all related details. Your primary tasks will include:

  • Confirming and inputting room reservations meticulously into our reservations system;
  • Managing a variety of tasks, from handling incoming phone calls and internet bookings to responding to emails promptly;
  • Taking charge of daily tasks, such as checking arrivals and reservations based on rate, market segment, payment method, notes, and traces;
  • Collaborating with the revenue management team to implement strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy;
  • Assisting Revenue Management Team with daily reporting, data collection, and meeting preparation;

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have a positive attitude, a sincere passion for delivering outstanding customer service, and a team player mindset. You should also possess proficiency in both written and spoken English, with knowledge of Dutch being an added advantage.
