Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Colgate-Palmolive Company. As a key member of our finance organization, you will be responsible for managing financial documents, ensuring compliance with global and local accounting standards, and providing financial analysis and planning support to the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare monthly financial accounts, including reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
- Manage accounts payable, including liaison with the business and accounts payable team, review and approval of payment runs, and critical metrics review meetings.
- Maintain internal and SOX controls, including documentation, review, and testing.
- Prepare taxes, including VAT returns, corporate income tax returns, and withholding tax returns.
- Process payroll, including posting and reconciliation, and working closely with local HR to define policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in local (NL and/or BE) GAAP and US GAAP.
- Excel and Google sheets skills, with SAP proficiency a strong plus.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, with the ability to challenge commercial and marketing teams.
- Analytical and pragmatic approach, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
