Vacancy: Verification Engineer

Location: Overijssel, Netherlands

Artinis Medical Systems BV is seeking a skilled Verification Engineer to join our Research and Development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and conducting product and software tests, validating test methods, and ensuring the quality of our products from a user perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test protocols, implement test procedures, evaluate test results, and prepare technical test reports.
  • Design test methods to measure the performance of software and hardware.
  • Collaborate effectively with project team members, including project leaders, hardware and software engineers, operations, regulatory affairs, marketing, and more.
  • Transfer documented test methods to production, quality control, or external suppliers.
  • Identify and obtain new test equipment and perform performance validation of automated software testing and test methodologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in EEG and EMG technologies.
  • Support new product development, regulatory submissions, and post-launch activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Software development, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills required for finding failures and performing root cause analysis.
  • Affinity with human electrophysiology and research.
  • Experience with Python and/or MATLAB is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a regulated medical device development environment.
  • Willing to work in an experimental environment performing hands-on experiments and communicating findings to the project team.
