About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer to join our team at CRH. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our Azure Virtual Desktop platform in Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and operate DaaS solutions for the organization.
  • Optimize Azure Virtual Desktop performance, scalability, and security.
  • Provide end-users with a consistent and efficient virtual endpoint experience.
  • Define standards for managing Azure Virtual Desktop, including Nerdio.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize platform performance, ensuring seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate with security to implement and manage appropriate security measures.
  • Participate in the evaluation and definition of the User Experience, specifying standards for how applications and desktops should perform.
  • Demonstrate expert-level proficiency with key technologies, including Azure Virtual Desktop, Active Directory, and Intune.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement of the AVD Platform.
  • Evaluate the impact of relevant emerging technology and business trends.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience with Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Active Directory Tooling management experiences, including Group Policy Objects and OU structures.
  • Intune Device Management, including Configuration Policies and Entra Hybrid Join integration.
  • Entra AD, including SSO and Entra Hybrid Join.
  • Basic level of education.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams on a European or Global level.
