Key Responsibilities- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior data engineers, educate them on best practices, and support their professional development.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand their needs and deliver effective data solutions.
- Build and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
- Implement data quality checks and validations in data pipelines to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
- Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks in data pipelines and storage systems to improve throughput, latency, and resource utilization.
- Evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks in the data engineering space and make recommendations for adoption based on business needs and technical feasibility.
- Implement and optimize continuous delivery pipelines for data engineering workflows, enabling rapid and reliable deployment of data solutions.
- Collaborate with sales and account management teams to understand client requirements, propose data solutions, and contribute to business development efforts.
- Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations by implementing appropriate security measures and access controls.

Requirements- A bachelor or master's degree in combination with 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Experience with designing and implementing infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
- A thorough understanding of fundamental Azure services regarding storage, compute, networking, security, and identity management.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure data services such as Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, ADX, or Fabric.
- A strong understanding of data modelling concepts and techniques, including relational, dimensional, and NoSQL data modelling.
- Clean coding principles and best practices within daily development in languages such as Python, Java, or SQL.
- Experience with a range of streaming data technologies, such as Eventhub, Kafka, Streaming Analytics, or Kinesis.
- Experience with pipeline orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks workflows, Glue, or Airflow.
