IT Support Specialist

The role of an IT Support Representative at Assent is a dynamic position that requires the ability to provide exceptional technical support services. As an integral member of our IT Support team, you will play a vital part in delivering top-notch service and support to our global team, regardless of location.
This position offers technology support to employees, troubleshooting of complex technical issues, creation of knowledge base articles, and reporting issue resolution to stakeholders. Additionally, it involves participating in daily IT tasks such as office maintenance, IT storage facilities stocking and organizing, computer setups, hardware shipping & receiving, and more.
Key Responsibilities:- Technical Support: Provide comprehensive IT system and hardware support to Assent Inc. stakeholders
- Equipment Management: Place orders, receive shipments, and manage deliveries to/from the office as needed
- System Configuration: Configure and setup technology systems for Assent team members
- Asset Inventory: Maintain accurate asset inventory records
- Office Maintenance: Manage and troubleshoot office workstations and meeting rooms
- Cloud Support: Support specific cloud systems used by the corporation
- User Account Management: Create and ensure timely decommissioning of accounts for new hires and team members leaving Assent
- Licensing and Access: Maintain software licensing and manage user accounts
- Status Monitoring: Monitor specific processes and report status updates
- Access Provisioning: Provision and deprovision office access for users
- Escalation Point: Serve as an escalation point for team members in Kenya and Malaysia
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with all Assentees across regions we operate in
- Security and Compliance: Familiarize yourself with corporate security policies and adhere to established procedures
- Tech Experience: 5+ years of demonstrated experience supporting Windows and macOS operating systems
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in using Google Workspace
- Remote Support: Experience supporting both local and remote users
- Network Troubleshooting: Experience with network troubleshooting
- Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Patient Service: Passion for providing high-quality service and support
- Teamwork: Superb interpersonal skills and ability to establish cross-functional relationships
- Attention to Detail: Diligence and attention to detail in resolving technical issues
- Adaptability: Highly adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated and dedicated to finding solutions
- Problem-Solving: Ability to work independently to problem-solve and seek efficiencies
- Competitive Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
