About the Role
This is a senior leadership position within the Inter IKEA group, responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of a common technology foundation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the optimization of the technology landscape across Inter IKEA and its franchisees to enable strategic movements towards the IKEA goals.
- Develop and innovate common technology capabilities to drive efficiency, standardization, and reuse of technology.
- Translate the objectives and ambitions of the IKEA strategic landscape into a future vision for the technology area, ensuring a roadmap with performance indicators to support the journey ahead.
Requirements
- Extensive technology knowledge and experience of leading technology operations and software engineering.
- Knowledge of technology and platforms in product development, retail, and supply chain driven environments.
- Knowledge of technology frameworks and standards.
- Ability to connect technology contribution to the overall strategies and vision, and to work across Inter IKEA connecting diverse competences to reach opportunities.
- Ability to work holistically on both strategic and operational levels, with an eye for critical details, and to communicate around the area of responsibility in a clear and understandable way.
Desirable Skills and Experiences
- Foundation/demonstrable/proficient/in-depth experience in Information Technology, including leading technology operations, integration, and software engineering.
- Good English language skills with the ability to cater to non-native audiences.
- A strategic mind that allows you to break down complex information, organize it, and present it in a clear and engaging way.
- Experience working for, or with, an IKEA company.
- Ability to build trusting relationships and long-term partnerships with stakeholders at all levels.
