Position Overview

We are excited to present a unique opportunity for a Frontend Development Lead to spearhead digital transformation and innovation within our organization.

In this leadership role, you will be instrumental in guiding the execution of development and integration initiatives within the Next Generation Product (NGP) Digital team. Reporting directly to the Head of Development and Testing, your contributions will be vital in ensuring that our delivery portfolio aligns with the necessary outputs and solutions while complying with all required standards.

As the Frontend Development Lead, you will oversee your team in delivering scalable, dependable, and robust front-end solutions, establishing high standards and best practices. This is a significant role where you will be part of a diverse, forward-thinking global FMCG company supported by a dedicated workforce.

This position is ideal for a frontend specialist with substantial experience, ready to embrace leadership responsibilities and make a meaningful impact. Be the catalyst for developing state-of-the-art, cloud-based applications while nurturing a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable and high-performance front-end solutions utilizing TypeScript, React, and Next.
  • Develop testable code that is built for scalability, reliability, and resilience.
  • Actively participate in technical discussions, providing valuable insights to the decision-making process.
  • Mentor and motivate team members to uphold high standards and best practices to maintain and enhance our platform.
  • Collaborate closely with relevant teams to ensure alignment, coordination, and execution of the product backlog.
  • Responsible for planning, tracking, and reporting on technical deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Next.
  • Extensive experience in unit testing, end-to-end testing, and integration testing.
  • Proven track record in developing highly scalable cloud-based applications.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively collaborate within a multicultural team.
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
