Harnham is seeking an experienced Azure Data Platform Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data processing and analytics solutions using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud-based data platforms, data modeling techniques, and SQL programming. Proficiency in Parquet, JSON, and Delta Lake is also required.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining data lakes, integrating diverse data sources, developing ETL/ELT pipelines, implementing medallion architecture, optimizing data models, ensuring data security and governance, and enhancing performance and automation.
We are looking for a highly skilled professional who can work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions. Experience with AI/ML model deployment on Azure Databricks is a plus.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an Azure Data Engineer in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and Azure Storage.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data modeling techniques.
- Familiarity with Parquet, JSON, and Delta Lake.
