About the Role

Coty is seeking a motivated and analytical Brand Finance Intern to join its team at the headquarters in Amsterdam.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be part of the Global Brand Finance team and will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day management of finance tasks.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Assisting the team in Month end close, compliance, budget tracking & forecast.
  • Working closely with global brand teams to oversee the performance and investments in a portfolio of brands.
  • Participating in monthly / quarterly close by updating tracking files, reviewing budget actuals to ensure compliance & accuracy and presenting main variances to the team during landing meetings.
  • Reporting: using Power BI reporting tool to report monthly Actuals, ensuring timeliness & accuracy of financial reports.
  • Handling adhoc requests including projects related ones.
  • Financial analysis, understanding drivers of variances vs budget/forecast & last year, identifying gaps & making recommendations.
  • Preparation of management reports for commercial and brand teams.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

  • Student (Bachelor/Master), it is important you remain enrolled with your university.
  • Passion for beauty and our brands, strong affinity with dynamic environment.
  • Analytical, good with numbers and strong excel skills.
  • Ability to take on responsibilities and provide added value.
  • Proactive and hands-on.
  • Flexible and loves challenges.
  • Good administrative & communication skills and likes to work in a team.
  • Fluent in English.
