Sales Order Assistant

About the Role
The Finance department at Abacus Medicine is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the position of Sales Order Assistant. As a key member of our 10-person finance team in Hungary, you will be working closely with our invoicing specialists in Denmark and related departments to utilize your language skills and previous work experience in customer invoice management.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue customer invoices and manage customer invoices, making corrections in the invoicing system.
- Process and follow up on customer orders (sales orders) and internal salespeople in different countries.
- Deal with customer invoice complaints in collaboration with other departments.
- Perform and manage other administrative tasks related to the invoicing process (price updates and quality assurance).
- Liaise with customers and factoring companies.
- Reconcile customer accounts.
- Prepare daily reports and statements.
About the Team
You will be part of the Finance department at Abacus Medicine, where there are 26 of us in Denmark and 1 in Hungary. Your closest colleagues are 2 Finance Assistants, 2 internal ERP consultants who are all based in Denmark, and our Finance Assistant who is based in Hungary.
Requirements
- Minimum a secondary qualification in finance/accounting.
- Have at least 2-3 years' experience in a business (finance/accounting) environment.
- Have a strong intermediate level of English (both spoken and written).
- Have confident German skills that you're comfortable using.
- Have a high level of accuracy and reliability.
- Take a proactive approach to daily tasks and have good communication skills.
- Are familiar with Microsoft Office programs.
- Ideally, you're familiar with ERP systems (SAP, D365, etc.) and have relevant professional (invoicing) experience.
