As a Senior Electronic Design Engineer at DARE, you will join a multicultural R&D team based in Breda. Your primary responsibility will be designing analog and digital hardware, embedded software, firmware, drivers, and application software. You will work closely with the Firmware and FPGA team to develop high-quality products from requirements management to factory introduction (end-to-end).

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop cutting-edge board-level analog electronic systems and circuits, ensuring innovation, quality, and reliability throughout the development process.
  • Use theoretical and statistical approaches to define and enhance product specifications.
  • Represent the Hardware team in multidisciplinary design teams, analyze requirements, and translate them into effective designs.
  • Define, realize, and maintain various electronics building blocks and products for both existing and new Siemens products.
  • Employ analog design techniques for signal/sensor conditioning, anti-alias filtering, and analog to digital conversion.
  • Create low-noise and precision circuits, ensuring immunity against unwanted signals.
  • Collaborate closely with Layout Engineers to achieve optimal results.
  • Perform thermal simulations and apply signal processing principles.
  • Conduct noise and error analysis using theoretical calculations, Spice simulations, and Monte-Carlo analysis.
  • Analyze measurement data to improve specifications.
  • Automate data analysis using tools like Mathcad and Mathematica.
  • Provide traceable verification of product tests and document development efforts accurately.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
  • Proven experience in Electronic Hardware Development.
  • Expertise in Electronic Hardware Design, including designing analog and mixed-signal electronics.
  • Familiarity with tools such as LTSPICE, Mentor toolset (Xpedition, SI, thermal, etc), Office 365, MATLAB, Mathematica, and LabVIEW is a plus.
