Mechatronic Design Engineer for Autonomous Mobile Robots

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechatronic Design Engineer to join our team at Trinamics Beheer B.V. in the development of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechatronic engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in mechatronic engineering or a related field.

  • Design and develop mechatronic systems, including control systems, sensing systems, and actuation systems for AMRs.
  • Collaborate with the integration team to ensure seamless integration of mechatronic systems with the overall robot system.
  • Develop algorithms for controlling the motion and behavior of AMRs.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • BSc or MSc degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in mechatronic engineering or a related field, preferably in the autonomous mobile robot industry.
  • Knowledge of control systems, robotics, and mechatronics.
  • Familiarity with working with sensors, actuators, and other mechatronic components.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and MATLAB.
  • Excellent communication skills.
