Job Overview

As a Mechatronic Design Engineer specializing in mobile robotics, you will be responsible for the creation and development of advanced mechatronic systems. Your expertise will be crucial in the design of control systems, sensing mechanisms, and actuation systems tailored for autonomous robotic arms (ARMs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement mechatronic systems, ensuring seamless integration with the overall robotic framework.
  • Develop and refine algorithms to control the motion and functionality of ARMs.
  • Validate system performance and reliability through rigorous testing and simulations, ensuring compliance with specifications.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends and advancements in mechatronics technology to enhance system capabilities.
  • Optimize engineering processes to accommodate increasing production demands while maintaining system compatibility.
Qualifications

Essential:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in mechatronic engineering, particularly within the autonomous mobile robotics sector.
  • Strong knowledge of control systems, robotics, and mechatronic principles.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and MATLAB.
  • Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

Desirable:

  • Experience with SolidWorks and its PDM/PLM systems.
  • Familiarity with EPlan software.
  • Design experience specifically related to autonomous mobile robots.
  • Experience utilizing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools for design verification.
