Job Description

As a key member of the Business Control department at HE Space, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution, and follow-up of activities and resources within the Business Unit.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, preparation, and execution of activities and related procurement actions managed by the Business Unit.
  • Assess and monitor the status of procurement actions, including activity progress, payment plans, financial charging, invoicing, and payment.
  • Implement administrative actions related to procurement and contractual matters, including data entry in ESA Corporate (SAP) and local applications.
  • Maintain up-to-date data, perform data analysis, and identify deviations from plans and targets.
  • Assist in the definition, preparation, implementation, and maintenance of management support tools.
  • Liaise with Contract, Budget, and Payment Officers to ensure coherence of internal and external administrative data.
  • Contribute to the definition of new and improvement of existing related processes and tools.
  • Support risk management processes, including maintenance of risk registers and monitoring of risk mitigation/reduction actions.
  • Support inventory and asset management processes, including coordination of proper registration of inventory items and assets.
  • Support maintenance of industrial return databases and periodic verification of BU data against ESA systems.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Business Administration or equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
  • Experience in controlling and/or management of activities and resources in the aerospace industry.
  • Highly proficient in the use of modern activities and resource management support tools/databases.
  • Experience as a user of SAP.
  • Ability to rapidly understand and adapt to ESA specific context and environment.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
