About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst Credit Risk to join our team at ING. As a key member of our Center of Expertise Risk Analytics, you will play a crucial role in providing and developing knowledge and expertise in the areas of credit risk and data analytics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze complex data sets, design and build physical models at various stages of the data pipeline, and ensure seamless data ingestion, mapping, and consumption.
  • Maintain and optimize applications in our Data Lake, utilizing Oracle Exadata as the primary database, while adhering to stringent performance standards.
  • Estimate the impact of changes in the data environment on risk calculations, including capital and provisions.
  • Evidence to internal and external stakeholders that data complies with ING standards, adhering to Data Management Process Control Standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in working with large databases within the financial services industry, preferably in credit risk-related roles.
  • Thorough understanding of data warehouse concepts, data modeling techniques, and BI tooling, including SAS and SQL Developer.
  • Ability to translate business requirements and observed defects into clear user stories for developers.
  • Knowledge of credit risk concepts, including Risk Weighted Assets, Expected Loss, and Definition of Default, is a plus.
