Job Title: Senior Data Analyst Credit Risk

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst Credit Risk to join our team at ING. As a key member of our Risk Analytics chapter, you will play a crucial role in assessing the impact of credit risk processes and systems on our business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze complex data sets to design and build physical models at various stages of the data pipeline.
  • Maintain applications in our Data Lake, managing data using Oracle Exadata as the main database, while adhering to set performance standards.
  • Estimate the impact of changes in the data environment on Risk calculations (capital, provisions).
  • Evidencing to internal and external stakeholders that the data is compliant with ING standards (Data Management Process Control Standards).
Requirements:
  • Experience in working with large databases within the financial services industry, preferably in credit risk related roles.
  • Thorough understanding of datawarehouse concepts, data modelling techniques, and BI tooling (SAS, SQL Developer) at an advanced level.
  • Ability to translate business requirements and observed defects into clear user stories for developers.
  • Knowledge of Credit Risk concepts (Risk Weighted Assets, Expected Loss, Definition of Default) is a plus.
