About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sustainability Sourcing Manager - Climate and Environment to join our team at Coty. As a key member of our sustainable sourcing team, you will be responsible for leading our supplier decarbonization program and working closely with our procurement team to drive sustainability initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive supplier decarbonization strategy, including setting targets and roadmaps for suppliers.
  • Engage with strategic suppliers to co-create roadmaps towards our sustainability ambitions and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Consolidate decarbonization project work to review progress against targets and share best practices and key leverage opportunities.
  • Support scope 3 reporting calculations and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  • Educate stakeholders on best practices and drive innovation in sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in an environmental sustainability-related discipline or equivalent qualification.
  • 6+ years' experience in the beauty or CPG industry, with a strong background in supplier management and sustainability.
  • Strong expertise in supplier carbon data management and reporting, as well as experience with scope 3 carbon reporting.
  • Understanding of other nature topics, such as water, waste, biodiversity, and deforestation.
  • Experience working in a complex, multinational company with a strong focus on sustainability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to persuade others and articulate a point of view.
  • Capacity to synthesize data to drive business decisions and lead sustainability initiatives.
