KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Senior Manager of Sustainable Sourcing, Climate & Environment, you will oversee our supplier decarbonization initiatives.
You will be an integral part of our sustainable sourcing team within procurement, serving as the primary contact for all climate-related matters. Your initial focus will be on carbon management, developing and implementing our supplier decarbonization strategy, program, and rollout, while also assisting our teams with scope 3 carbon reporting. This role will expand to encompass broader environmental issues such as biodiversity.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Leading the supplier decarbonization program – aligning on strategy, providing toolkits for procurement teams and suppliers, and recommending supplier targets and roadmaps, along with data collection.
- Engaging with key suppliers and facilitating the co-creation of roadmaps to achieve our sustainability goals.
- Consolidating decarbonization project efforts to assess progress against targets and sharing best practices and key leverage opportunities.
- Supporting calculations for scope 3 reporting.
- Educating stakeholders on best practices to drive our transformation, focusing on leveraging industry standards and identifying key innovative opportunities.

The team consists of the Sustainable Sourcing Director, a Sustainable Sourcing Manager focused on social issues, and an ethical trade coordinator. You will have the chance to collaborate cross-functionally with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as leading consultants. Our team members are characterized by their kindness and passion.
We are a close-knit team that is growing, supported by regular team meetings and a vibrant communication channel for personal and professional updates. We aim to meet in person at one of our offices monthly.
You will report to our Vice President of Direct Procurement, reflecting the importance of this team's delivery and execution.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
You are proactive and eager to drive change and transformation. As the Senior Manager of Sustainable Sourcing, Climate & Environment, you should possess resilience, prioritize effectively, and be comfortable working with large data sets, thriving in a fast-paced, diverse, and international environment.
Additionally, you will have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in an environmental sustainability-related field or equivalent qualification.
- Over 6 years of experience, preferably in the Beauty or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
- Strong expertise in supplier management, scope 3 carbon issues, and climate reporting.
- Knowledge or experience in other environmental topics (water, waste, biodiversity, deforestation).
- Experience in a complex, multinational organization.
- Excellent communication skills to influence others, articulate viewpoints, and set strategic direction.
- Ability to synthesize data to inform business decisions.
- A background in sustainability change management and a passion for transformation.
