About the Role

ING is seeking an experienced Sourcing Design Lead to drive the development and implementation of an efficient sourcing approach that enables stakeholders to be in control of their sourcing journey. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining an overview of ongoing and upcoming change initiatives in relation to sourcing, and will work closely with CoE S&SS management, support function leads, and sourcing stakeholders across ING.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the Global ING Sourcing Framework (ISF) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ING's strategy.
  • Collaborate with experts in various support functions within ING Bank NV, local experts within entities across the globe, and other MT members in CoE Sourcing & Shared Services to ensure changes are reflected in new processes and/or tooling.
  • Proactively signal new or changing sourcing requirements, and maintain an overview of ongoing and upcoming change initiatives in relation to sourcing.
  • Align with CoE S&S Business Lines' Transition Managers, Business Lines' stakeholders, local ODCR business partners, CoE S&SS change portfolio managers, (local) transition managers, and control owners on how to adhere to new or upcoming changes.
  • Drive the sourcing impacted change across the ING globe, and ensure full compliance can be achieved across all locations.
Requirements
  • Master's degree with 7-10 years of generic banking experience in the area of sourcing/offshoring and/or procurement/contracting management.
  • Detailed understanding of the Sourcing (Intragroup and/or Third party) landscape in which ING is operating.
  • Strong experience in leading change initiatives with global impact.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to distinguish between main and side issues and create recommendations.
  • Fluent in English, with understanding of Dutch a bonus.
