This is a unique opportunity to join Personio's Product & Technology team as a Principal Product Designer. You will be responsible for managing work-streams, providing product direction, leading within the design team, and tackling complex problems. Your exceptional design skills, experience in high-fidelity prototyping, and track record of improving tools and frameworks will contribute to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture while fostering a healthy design process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage entire work-streams, providing product direction through goal-setting and planning.
- Lead within the design team and among cross-functional peers.
- Tackle systems-level problems with numerous interconnected constraints.
- Launch well-defined and well-executed products.
- Solve Product Design problems that few others can.
- Connect related projects across the company to resolve issues or joint decisions quickly.
How You'll Succeed
- Influence and strengthen team culture while identifying areas for development.
- Demonstrate a track record of clearly and articulately representing work in presentations and reviews with executives and other leaders.
- Effectively communicate the team's product goals, framing discussions to elicit desired feedback.
- Have experience in interviewing.
- Act as an ally by actively helping others and treating colleagues with respect and generosity.
- Be empathetic to team members' feelings and put in effort for the team's benefit.
- Contribute to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture while fostering a healthy design process.
What You Need to Succeed
- Exceptional skills in one dimension of design, e.g., Product thinking, Interaction Design, Execution, Craft, Programs.
- Skilled in using high-fidelity prototyping tools.
- Experience developing and improving tools, frameworks, or existing systems.
- Designed new patterns or introduced standards adopted by others in previous roles.
- Track record of proactively identifying and driving initiatives that strengthen the team.
