About Action Sourcing

Action Sourcing is responsible for managing, developing, and improving sourcing activities from Asia, Turkey Region, and within Europe. Our team plays a central and coordinating role in sourcing-oriented activities, working closely with Buying, Commercial Planning, Commercial Operations, Quality, Sustainability, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customs departments.

Purpose of the Job

As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for securing Action's purchases by finding the best production partners with the capability and capacity to support our network and growth ambitions. You will be the main link and coordinator between Action's Buying team, internal stakeholders, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify suitable suppliers for Action
  • Manage supplier search activities, pre-qualification, and post-order processes
  • Act as the Action representative and counterpart towards new and existing suppliers
  • Travel to visit suppliers and trade fairs to establish new contacts or manage existing relationships
  • Coordinate order management from buying to shipping/transportation
  • Facilitate and unburden buyers on non-core sourcing activities
Areas of Responsibility
  • Explore sourcing channels to build and maintain a network of European direct manufacturers
  • Travel to trade fairs to source new suppliers and meet existing ones
  • Pre-qualify potential new suppliers based on their general set-up, products, production capacity, quality, and logistics
  • Travel to suppliers for pre-negotiation, onboarding, and factory screening
  • Facilitate and coordinate factory evaluations and audits with the quality and sustainability team
  • Manage sourcing administrative tasks, including supplier and product data collection and recording
  • Monitor production trends, novelty items, and competitors to identify opportunities and threats
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Purchase, Commerce, Supply Chain, or Management
  • Over 3 years of work experience in sourcing/purchasing, preferably in retail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in cross-functional cooperation
  • Excellent oral and written English skills, with Polish as a first or second language preferred
