We are seeking a highly motivated PhD researcher to investigate the impact of local cultures on perceptions of geothermal energy. The successful candidate will design and implement a questionnaire to gather data from diverse countries, analyze the results, and publish the findings in scientific journals.
Key Responsibilities- Design and distribute a questionnaire to gather data on local cultures and geothermal energy perceptions
- Analyze the data using statistical software (e.g. SPSS or R)
- Develop a manual for stakeholders on engaging with local communities
- Conduct randomized controlled trials to test the effectiveness of the manual
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Psychology, Communication Science, Cultural Anthropology, Sociology, Public Administration, or a related field
- Experience in designing surveys and experiments
- Strong quantitative data analysis skills
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Fluency in English (IELTS C1 level or higher)
We offer a 4-year employment contract with a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- A salary increase of 3.7% in September 2024 and an additional 1% increase in January 2025
- A one-off payment of €300 gross based on full-time employment
