Assembly Carpenter

Carpenters in this position perform the following tasks:

• Repairing and fitting doors, floors, frames, roofs, stairs, ceilings, walls, window sills, and other wooden structures
• Studying sketches, drawings, specifications, and building plans in preparation for actual carpentry work
• Checking the soundness and condition of existing constructions (using spirit level and square)
• Determining dimensions and distances using tools such as measuring tape, pencil, folding rule, and chalk
• Cutting wooden boards and beams to size using power tools
• Fastening building materials together using nails, screws, bolts, etc.
• Finishing joints and seams (e.g., with skirting boards or sealant)

In this role, you will primarily disassemble and reassemble wooden crates for the transportation of large high-tech parts daily. You will do this based on technical drawings and guidelines.

Your tasks will also include:

• Noticing and reporting deviations
• Ensuring quality
• Working safely

You will work in two shifts, with one week from Monday to Friday, 6:00-15:00, and the other week from Monday to Friday, 15:00-00:00.

To excel in this position, you must have handy hands and experience reading technical drawings.

You work accurately and are committed to quality.

In addition, you should bring:

• Good command of the English language
• Will to work in shifts
• Technical background or experience in woodworking, such as Machine Woodworker, Handyman, Wood Production Worker, or Assembly Worker
• Ability to work as a team player and reside in Eindhoven, Helmond, Veldhoven, Veghel, or Valkenswaard

• Salary approximately €3000 gross per month (including 18% Shift Surcharge)
