Key Responsibilities

The work of carpenters involves:

  • Repairing and fitting doors, floors, frames, roofs, stairs, ceilings, walls, window sills, and other wooden structures
  • Studying sketches, drawings, specifications, and building plans for actual carpentry work
  • Checking the soundness and condition of existing constructions using tools like spirit levels and squares
  • Determining dimensions and distances using measuring tapes, pencils, folding rules, and chalk
  • Cutting wooden boards and beams to size using power tools
  • Fastening building materials together using nails, screws, bolts, etc.
  • Finishing joints and seams with skirting boards or sealant

In this position, you will primarily disassemble and reassemble wooden crates for transporting large high-tech parts daily. You will work based on technical drawings and guidelines.

Your tasks will also include:

  • Noticing and reporting deviations
  • Ensuring quality
  • Working safely

You will work in two shifts, with varying schedules.

This role requires handy hands and experience reading technical drawings. You must work accurately and be committed to quality. Additionally, you should have:

  • Good command of the English language
  • Willingness to work in shifts
  • Technical background or experience in woodworking, such as Machine Woodworker, Handyman, Wood Production Worker, or Assembly Worker
  • Team player with a residence in Eindhoven, Helmond, Veldhoven, Veghel, or Valkenswaard
Work Conditions

  • Salary approximately €3000 gross per month (including 18% Shift Surcharge)
  • Reimbursement of travel expenses (if more than 10 km)
