Key Responsibilities

As a carpenter, your tasks will involve:

  • Repairing and fitting doors, floors, frames, roofs, stairs, ceilings, walls, window sills, and other wooden structures
  • Studying sketches, drawings, specifications, and building plans to prepare for actual carpentry work
  • Inspecting the soundness and condition of existing constructions using tools like spirit levels and squares
  • Determining dimensions and distances using measuring tapes, pencils, folding rules, and chalk
  • Cutting wooden boards and beams to size using power tools
  • Fastening building materials together using nails, screws, bolts, and other fasteners
  • Finishing joints and seams with skirting boards or sealant

In this role, you will primarily disassemble and reassemble wooden crates for transporting large high-tech parts. You will work based on technical drawings and guidelines.

Your additional responsibilities will include:

  • Notifying and reporting deviations
  • Ensuring quality
  • Working safely

You will work in two shifts, with one week from Monday to Friday, 6:00-15:00, and the other week from Monday to Friday, 15:00-00:00.

Requirements

  • Good command of the English language
  • Willingness to work in shifts
  • Technical background or experience in woodworking, such as Machine Woodworker, Handyman, Wood Production Worker, or Assembly Worker
  • Team player living in Eindhoven, Helmond, Veldhoven, Veghel, or Valkenswaard
