Safety Coordinator for Petrochemical and Maritime Projects

Nouvall Engineering Services B.V. is a leading provider of project support services for the petrochemical and maritime industries. We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Coordinator to join our team.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the application of prevention hierarchy principles during engineering and execution phases. This will involve updating the safety and health plan, coordination file, and post-intervention dossier. Additionally, the candidate will organize collaboration and coordination of contractors at the construction site via coordination structure meetings and execute walkarounds to verify compliance with legislation and project expectations.
RequirementsThe ideal candidate will hold a degree in a relevant discipline and possess a Safety Coordinator design and execution level A certification. They will also have more than 10 years' experience in HSSE roles in major construction projects in Belgium and sound knowledge of HSSE legislation in Belgium. Fluency in Dutch and good English communication skills are essential, as is strong planning and organizing ability.
