Financial Controller Job Description

Envalior is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial reporting, including managerial results, month-end closing analysis, and utility costs.
  • Drive continuous improvements in operational control processes.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Act as a single point of contact between business, financial control team, and shared service centers.
  • Responsible for product costing, variance analyses, manufacturing performance, inventories, CAPEX, and first-line analyses and insights for actuals, forecast, and budget.
  • Lead or participate in projects with multidisciplinary teams to standardize processes, increase efficiency, and create business value.
  • Budget activities, including project costing.
  • Act as a key user for reports in operational control processes.
  • Provide evidence for the internal control framework and follow up on remediation plans.
  • Support internal and external audits for operational control processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor or master's degree with affinity for finance.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, Business Warehouse, and Power-BI.
  • An ambitious and talented team player.
  • High level of conceptual and analytical skills.
  • Fluent in English, other languages considered an asset.
  • Drive for results, eager to learn and develop, frontrunner in digitization and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong business partner mindset.
  • Ability to work independently within strict deadlines and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
