Job Title: Finance and Accounting Manager

As a key member of the finance function at ARLANXEO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. Your primary responsibility will be to act as the main contact for the CFO, controllers, and other business functions, as well as the Group Accounting Shared Service Centre, in relation to finance-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage accounting and financial closing, and reporting activities, acting as the interface between the company and the accounting shared services center.
  • Monthly Income statement and balance sheet analyses to ensure accurate financial reporting, identify issues and opportunities.
  • Advise management, shared services, and other finance functions regarding compliance aspects of financial reporting.
  • Maintain and ensure the company is compliant with the Group Internal Control Framework.
  • Ensure tax compliance for direct and indirect tax reporting in collaboration with the group function Tax.
  • Monitor and forecast the liquidity of the company.
  • Responsible for the coordination of the internal or external (tax/financial) audit (quarterly reviews and year-end audit).
  • Participate in projects regarding improvements in the accounting and reporting processes and tools.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5-6 years professional experience in the field of accounting, preferably in manufacturing business.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
  • Experience in SAP (S4 Hana and SAP BPC are considered an advantage).
  • Experienced capability to operate in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary global business environment.
  • Experience with Dutch tax legislation is considered an advantage.
  • Experience and knowledge of reporting and accounting principles (IFRS).
  • Strong analytical, numeric, and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative and communicative personality.
