About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance and Accounting Manager to join our team at ARLANXEO. As a key member of our finance function, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing accounting and financial closing activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage accounting and financial closing activities, acting as the interface between the company and the accounting shared services center.
  • Perform monthly income statement and balance sheet analyses to ensure accurate financial reporting and identify issues and opportunities.
  • Advise management, shared services, and other finance functions on compliance aspects of financial reporting.
  • Maintain and ensure the company's compliance with the Group Internal Control Framework.
  • Ensure tax compliance for direct and indirect tax reporting in collaboration with the group function Tax.
  • Monitor and forecast the company's liquidity.
  • Coordinate internal or external audits (quarterly reviews and year-end audit).
  • Participate in projects to improve accounting and reporting processes and tools.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5-6 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing business.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
  • Experience with SAP (S4 Hana and SAP BPC are considered an advantage).
  • Ability to operate in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary global business environment.
  • Experience with Dutch tax legislation is considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of reporting and accounting principles (IFRS).
  • Strong analytical, numeric, and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative and communicative personality.
