Senior Director, S/4HANA Lead Management Accounting

Lonza is a global leader in life sciences, operating across three continents. We're driven by a passion for innovation and a commitment to excellence. As part of our ongoing pursuit of excellence, we're embarking on a significant Transformation Project to introduce S/4HANA, and we're seeking a highly experienced Senior Director to lead the Management Accounting workstream.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate global business requirements into standardized concepts for the A2D workstream.
  • Ensure the successful implementation of S/4HANA, from design to implementation.
  • Coordinate the project with key stakeholders and lead a team of functional experts.
  • Develop a detailed plan outlining tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Assign responsibilities, monitor progress, and ensure the team adheres to deadlines.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify and assess risks associated with the stream and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions related to decision-making.
  • Work with process experts to analyze existing processes and identify improvements.
  • Collaborate with the team to gather and review requirements and design solutions.
  • Ensure functional requirements and solutions align with overall objectives.
  • Cooperate with consultants and IT experts to address solution-related questions.
  • Organize prototype review sessions with relevant stakeholders to verify system build.
  • Collaborate with data specialists to ensure a smooth transition of data to S/4HANA.
  • Plan and organize system, process, and data testing for the assigned stream.
  • Prepare, plan, and organize training materials and training execution.
  • Establish a Key User Community in the area of responsibility.
  • Accountable for change management and control related to the assigned stream.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in Management Accounting, within a manufacturing/production company.
  • Previous experience of Site Production Controlling would be advantageous.
  • Strong experience in Project Management (ideally with S/4HANA experience, but could also include significant transformation project experience).
  • Track record of successful collaboration on projects, leading to positive business outcomes.
