About the Role:
This Freelance Data Governance Consultant position requires an individual with extensive experience in metadata management, data engineering, and data governance frameworks. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the rollout of our data management strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable solutions, and serving as a central expert for our data catalogue application and data governance way of working.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of our data management strategy, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless execution
- Work closely with domain leads to drive technical discussions and facilitate meetings, connecting new systems to exchange metadata
- Develop training materials and provide coaching to stakeholders across business departments and countries on data governance best practices

- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data governance, applying this knowledge to improve our data management capabilities

The Group Data and Analytics team at Logex provides cutting-edge data and analytics tools used by teams across eight countries. Our data and analytics platform enables healthcare organizations to optimize patient care, drive operational efficiency, and make informed decisions based on data-driven insights.

Requirements:
- At least 7 years of experience in metadata management or general data management

- Knowledge of data governance frameworks (DAMA), data quality principles, and business and technology issues related to enterprise/digital information assets
- Excellent analytical approach, strong communication skills, and proactive attitude
- Fluency in English is a must
