We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Manager to join our team at ABN Amro. As a Credit Risk Manager, you will be responsible for executing strong stakeholder management, providing a second line opinion on strategic matters related to credit risk, and validating credit risk portfolio analysis.
You will play a pivotal role in various ICS strategic projects and advise risk committees on strategic changes, portfolio- and product reviews. Your primary goal will be to help the ICS Risk Team maintain oversight and control over the entire credit risk balance sheet of ICS.
About the TeamYou will be working within the ICS Risk Management team, consisting of highly motivated colleagues with different backgrounds. You will be in frequent contact with first line colleagues, MT members, and other colleagues within ICS and various stakeholders within ABN Amro.

We are looking for a candidate who is a team player, has a strong drive to keep their own expertise up to date, and shares knowledge and expertise with others. You should have a proactive attitude, be able to liaise interdepartmentally, and help build team confidence.
RequirementsWe are looking for a candidate with a strong background in credit risk management, preferably with experience in Business, (Credit) Risk, Finance, and/or 3rd LoD (Internal Audit). You should have knowledge of and/or interest in supra-Credit Risk subjects such as ICAAP, RAS, Management Control Cycle, etc.
You should be able to provide sharp and concise analyses in combination with the ability to strategically advise Risk Committees (EERC, BRC, GRC, IPC, GPAC). You should be independent but have no trouble working in a team or project.
You should be aware of the strategy of the Client Units and (Credit) Risk and familiar with the processes within Risk Management. You should have knowledge of applicable Credit Risk laws and regulations, such as CRR, Basel, EBA guidelines.
Excellent verbal and writing skills, both in Dutch and English, are required. Expertise in the field of Financial Services and strong project management skills are advantageous.

We offer a gross monthly salary based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget. The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary, which allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. Five weeks of vacation per year are included, with the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
A personal development budget of €1,000 per year is available, which can be accumulated up to €3,000. The possibility to work from home, in consultation with your team and depending on your position, is also available. An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands is included, as well as an excellent pension scheme.
