Job Title: System Security Engineer

Serco is a leading Space Services Provider with a strong presence in the European space industry. We are seeking a highly skilled System Security Engineer to join our team in the Netherlands or Italy.

About the Role

As a System Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our clients' information systems. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing comprehensive security risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats
  • Establishing and defining security requirements for information systems
  • Conducting security threat analysis and risk treatment to mitigate identified risks
  • Reviewing and assessing technical documentation to ensure compliance with security requirements and policies
  • Supporting the certification and accreditation process for various projects
  • Preparing and maintaining security-related project documentation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in Computer Sciences, IT, Information Security, Engineering, or a relevant technical domain
  • At least 3 years of experience in information security or a related field
  • Experience performing security risk assessments, developing risk treatment plans, and defining security requirements
  • Knowledge of security standards and frameworks such as ISO27000, NIST, MITRE, EBIOS
  • Effective communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and cooperate in a diverse international team environment
  • Proficient in the English language, both written and spoken
