Coty is seeking motivated Supply Chain Interns who possess a proactive approach to problem-solving. As a Supply Chain Intern, you will collaborate with various Supply Chain teams at our Headquarters in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field.

Overview of Supply Chain in Amsterdam

Our Amsterdam headquarters is home to several interconnected Supply Chain teams. These include Regional and Global Logistics, Supply Chain Transformation, Quality Assurance, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), and Supply Development. Each team plays a crucial role in shaping strategies and frameworks that enhance our Global and Regional Supply and Logistics operations. They are tasked with identifying improvement opportunities and implementing projects that add value, enhance service, and promote efficiency and safety within our Supply Chain network.

Available Roles

We have multiple internship positions available within the Supply Chain function. Candidates can express interest in specific roles based on the brief descriptions provided below:

Global Transport & Customs
The intern will explore the integration of Artificial Intelligence in Transportation Management and assist in formulating a strategic approach for our team. This role involves managing global transport operations (Air, Sea, and Road) and analyzing extensive data related to the movement of Coty's products worldwide. The primary focus will be on enhancing Data Quality (identifying errors, outliers, and trends) and conducting Data Analytics (CO2 emissions, equipment utilization, and transport costs) to drive improvement initiatives.

Demand Planning

The intern will engage in the following tasks:

  • Collaborating on 50/50 demand (statistical forecasting and initiative planning)
  • Assisting Demand planners in preparing for S&OP
  • Managing a Demand Project – the intern will undertake a project (details to be defined) with complete end-to-end responsibility

Process Assurance

The intern will focus on:

  • Understanding and documenting processes through flowcharts
  • Identifying critical steps within processes

What We Offer

Candidate Requirements

  • Currently enrolled HBO/WO student (Bachelor/Master) in Transport, Logistics, or Supply Chain disciplines.
  • A genuine passion for beauty and a strong affinity for dynamic environments.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency with numbers, and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • A willingness to take on responsibilities and contribute positively.
  • Proactive and hands-on attitude.
  • Adaptable and enjoys facing challenges.
  • Excellent administrative and communication skills, with a preference for teamwork.
  • Fluency in English is essential.

Internship Details

This is a full-time internship (40 hours per week) lasting 5-6 months. Remote work is permitted up to 50% of the time, in agreement with your supervisor. Interns will receive a stipend and a transportation card if they do not possess a student public transport card. The internship can be aligned with a thesis, though this will primarily be conducted in the intern's own time.
