Safety Excellence Manager Netherlands

We are seeking an experienced Safety Excellence Manager to join our team at Arvato Netherlands B.V. in Nord of Limburg, the Netherlands.
As a Safety Excellence Manager, you will play a crucial role in further advancing our Operational Excellence division and contributing to the development of one of the most modern logistics centers in Europe.
You will be responsible for monitoring operational compliance with regulations regarding occupational health and safety, environment, and dangerous goods (transport/storage), as well as coordinating matters related to emergency response, dangerous goods, fire safety, permits, and waste management.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and ensure operational compliance with changing regulations and standards
- Coordinate emergency response and dangerous goods-related activities
- Develop and implement projects to achieve desired safety scores for all locations in the Netherlands
- Provide training and establish processes for HSE matters
- Develop and update annual planning analyses and controls to support quality management systems
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A completed HBO degree in Safety Engineering or a related field
- Demonstrable experience in health and safety management, including knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 45001
- Experience in dangerous goods transport regulations and storage regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP or similar software
- Required proficiency in English language, with knowledge of Dutch an advantage
- Strong project management skills
We offer a competitive salary between €2542,- and €4561,-, fully paid retirement plan, discounted gym memberships, bonus, 25 paid vacation days (possibility to extend to 28 days), versatile working environment with creative freedom, flat hierarchies, and an open corporate culture.
