Job Overview

Anantara is seeking a skilled Technical Service Employee to address and resolve technical issues by analyzing signals and performing preventive measures to avert malfunctions. Collaborating with your technical department colleagues, you will ensure the seamless execution of preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and addressing technical concerns raised by both colleagues and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute maintenance and repair tasks throughout the hotel;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by guests or staff;
  • Conduct thorough inspections;
  • Prepare reports and inspection documentation while maintaining the logbook;
  • Identify and report damages or hazardous conditions;
  • Foster strong communication with all hotel departments;
  • Highlight procedural challenges and suggest enhancements;
  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks;
  • Undertake installation duties;
  • Oversee the management of tools and equipment;
  • Coordinate and supervise external contractors for repairs, maintenance, and renovations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong service orientation with technical expertise and a commitment to quality;
  • Ability to perform well under pressure, maintaining composure and finding effective solutions in challenging situations;
  • Quick comprehension of various systems and maintenance tasks as a technically inclined individual;
  • Practical problem-solving skills with a proactive approach, ready to engage in hands-on work;
  • Excellent communication abilities and proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch is advantageous.
